Our International Student Program offers an excellent educational experience. You will be provided with challenging academic studies with English Language learning opportunities in the classroom.
Mountain View Academy will prepare you for continuing post-secondary studies at the university or college level.
New students will be required to take the TOEFL and SLEP tests to determine grade placement. Scores from each test will help determine grade placement.
After some orientation classes, International Students are integrated with their fellow American students to achieve the best experience possible under the guidance of a dedicated faculty member.
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, MVA is close to public transportation, and well-known high-tech companies.
There are many cultural and sporting events nearby and plenty of sunshine to enjoy California’s Pacific Ocean coastline and Sierra Nevada mountain range.

International students can also enjoy living with an American family for full cultural immersion. Host families are carefully chosen after personal interviews, background and reference checks to ensure they can provide a safe and healthy environment for each international student, including social and emotional support. Orientation and ongoing support is provided for both host families and international students. Contact Mountain View Academy to learn more about staying with host families and current availability.
Come join other International students in experiencing cultural diversity through various yearly activities: International Week, Moon Festival celebration, Christmas parties, and Chinese New Year fundraisers.
